My broadcasting career has taken me from BBC radio studios to live events, arts festivals, cultural projects and interviews with fascinating people from around the world.

Along the way I have learned that great presenting is not about being the loudest voice in the room. It is about listening, creating trust and helping people tell their stories.

As a BBC-trained broadcaster and interviewer, I am equally comfortable presenting live, working from a script, conducting interviews or responding to the unexpected moments that often create the most memorable content.

I was brought up on the South Devon coast and now live by the sea in Kent. Curiosity and adventure have always shaped the way I see the world.

I have travelled extensively, including journeys across Africa and the Trans-Siberian Railway, and I am endlessly fascinated by the people, places and stories that make every community unique.
Music is another lifelong passion. I am a singer and saxophonist and have performed in bands, ensembles and live events for many years.

That musical background continues to influence my presenting style, bringing energy, rhythm and spontaneity to my work.

I am also a proud mum and understand that some of the best stories are often found
much closer to home.
